Fat Monday

This week is the celebration of Mardi Gras and on Saturday we went to the annual Fayetteville Mardi Gras parade. We've been to it before in the past and it is always a lot of fun watching the people and floats. This year there weren't as many spectators because it was cold but it was still a could turn out. Here are some pictures from the parade:This weekend also marked the opening weekend for Razorback baseball. We've been counting down the days till baseball season and I can't believe that it is here already. I'm hoping that this year is a much warmer baseball season than last year. It seems like every game last year was freezing. Chris didn't take any pictures of the opening series because he is waiting for his new camera lens to come in. Hopefully it will be in this weekend so I can post pictures of this next series.

I haven't posted on our blog in a few weeks but I hope that everyone had a great Valentine's Day. Chris and I had a wonderful Valentine's Day. Friday night we went to Olive Garden and we finally used up all of our gift certificates from Christmas. Thank you to everyone who gave us so many of them because we truly did enjoy them!! Saturday we spent the day window shopping and Chris bought me shoes from Nine West for my present. Since Chris won't let me buy coats and jackets anymore I have replaced them with shoes! As for Chris's present he received the new Third Day CD and a home cooked dinner Saturday night. I know that some of you are probably wondering if he got food poisoning from eating it but it turned out wonderfully! I want to say a big thank you to Richard's Meat Market for the great chicken.

Hope you guys have a great Fat Tuesday!

Master Bedroom Redesign

Since I've been off the past couple of days due to weather conditions I was finally able to finish cleaning and straighten up our bedroom. For Christmas I asked my parents to buy us new bedding. We really loved our old bedding but every once in awhile it is nice to change things up. We also bought some new art work and vases to go with the new colors. Thankfully we are able to find some art work that was still in a Japanese style. My mother-in-law also got me a picture frame that I really wanted for Christmas that has one of my favorite Winnie the Pooh quotes that says "If I live you live to be a 100, I hope to be a 100 minus one day, so I never have to live a day without you." Enjoy the pictures.
