Squishfaceddogs

You guys all know my love for the website http://squishfacedogs.com/.  Well a few weeks ago I decided to submit some photos of our own squished faced dog Newton.  When I checked their blog tonight Newton's photos made it onto their website.  You'll have to go check them out because Newton is famous for the night! ;)

Pondering

It's going to be a long and sleepless night for me, so I thought I'd blog some things that are on my mind. I've gone all my life believing this one thing about my life only to find out that's not the case. Now I am left feeling like a stranger looking in on it. I know eventually I'll have to get over it but it still hurts to see. I'm really great at putting on a face and acting like everything is fine even when I'm really upset. Maybe I'm being selfish about it all but I just had to get it off my chest so maybe I'm able to sleep.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone!  I can't believe Easter is here.  Last Easter it rained all day and I was still recovering from having my wisdom teeth removed.  This Easter is absolutely gorgeous and it also helps that today is our 11th year anniversary of our first date.  I can't believe it's really been that long.  I love you Chris more and more each day!

Hello Phoenix

One of my 30th birthday presents was a brand new 2012 Chevy Sonic. Our lease was up on our Saturn in April and we had been debating on what to do with it. We've been having problems with the Saturn for awhile so we knew we were going to turn it back in. But we were debating on whether to go down to one car for a couple of months until we got back from our trip from Europe. So we decided to go car looking for a small car that would get really good gas mileage and that would fit in the garage! We looked at several little cars but the two that we really liked were the Fiat and the Mazda 2. I really loved how cute the Fiat was but it can only really fit two people although it does seat four maybe tiny people. I liked the Mazda 2 but I was so use to driving a car that has auto lights and XM radio. So we ended up with the Sonic. I really love driving it. It doesn't feel like driving a small car and I like that it has a digital display. The only thing that I had to give up was a sunroof. But thankfully Watson has one and that will be the primary car that I will be driving.
Goodbye Reginald!  This is the first time in 7 years I haven't owned a Saturn.
The one we picked out was on the showroom floor and only had 2 miles on it!
We decided to tint the windows.  I think it makes it look a little more sporty.
