Smokey

Our littlest guinea pig, Smokey, passed away Sunday night. He hadn't been feeling well for about a week and he was scheduled to have surgery Monday to remove a growth that was growing on his butt. Smokey was our brave guinea pig that was always jumping off the couch, or biting the dogs in the face. If you came home without feeding them their carrots he was always the one that was standing up trying to get your attention. We will truly miss him a lot but we are so glad that he isn't suffering anymore. To us our animals are like our children and it was really hard for us to let him go. Our other guinea pig, Patches, seems to be doing well. He runs around his cage looking for Smokey sometimes. Goodbye Smokey, we loved you and will miss you tons!

Happy Easter

We hope that you have a wonderful and blessed Easter.

Did you notice our new glasses? We both got new glasses for the New Year if you haven't seen us in awhile. Here is a picture of some flowers in our backyard. It has been really interesting to see the different types of flowers we have been getting for spring since we don't know what is planted.

Spring Time

Spring has officially started and there are many projects that are going on at the Bosch Household. This morning Chris painted our front door and the french doors to the backyard. So goodbye ugly purple, hello gorgeous red!

We have also had an epidemic of weeds in our front and backyard. Chris put down weed killer and it didn't take. So after much thought we decided that it would be best and less expensive to have someone come out and take care of our weed epidemic. So, hopefully we will have a nice lush weed-free green yard soon. Speaking of weeds we have tons of weeds in our flower beds, so we have been working on pulling the weeds and putting down fresh mulch. We only have the front yard done but hopefully by next weekend the backyard will be done too. Notice all of the Lowe's bags filled with weeds and old mulch.

The biggest project the we have started is getting rid of the nasty strawberry garden located in the corner of our backyard. Chris moved the railroad timbers to the back of the shed and dug up all of the strawberries and weeds. I hope to buy a tree soon and put a flower bed around it. We really want to put some type of water feature over next to it.

Where did February go?

Well, we didn't post a single blog for February, not that February was uneventful but it seems like time is just slipping away sometimes. I will recap the major highlights for the month.....The first part of February was rather boring. We pretty much went to work and hung out with the animals. Although, one major event was that we got to met Coach Dave Van Horn at the Bentonville Booster Club meeting, here is a picture of that:

We had to celebrate Valentine's Day on the 13th since Chris had to go to Las Vegas for his meetings. Chris sent me a dozen beautiful red roses and he bought me red heels for Valentine's Day. I bought Chris an assortment of things which were a bedside decanter, a red blanket, and various other gifts. Thankfully Chris made it back in one piece from his trip but unfortunately he lost all of the money that he brought with him and all of the money that he won. He did win $600 dollars but lost it all in the high rollers room. But I guess the saying goes you win some you lose some right?

The end of the month was celebrated with the start of the Razorback Baseball season starting. We are really excited about the season starting back and we are all hoping for a really good season. One thing that I am really hoping for is warmer weather. The first series was extremely cold. Here is a picture of us from the first game:
